CGC is Proud to Present Ethan Van Sciver at the CGC Booth in Wizard World Texas

Wizard’s “Top Ten” Artist, Ethan Van Sciver (Green Lantern, Green Lantern: Rebirth, Flash: Iron Heights, Batman/Catwoman & New X-Men) will be doing a special CGC Signature Series signing at the CGC booth (#513) at Wizard World Texas this weekend (November 4th -6th, 2005).

A CGC Representative will be on hand to witness the signing. All signed comics can be submitted that day to CGC for the prestigious CGC Signature Series label – the hobby’s only 100% authenticated signature! Specific date and time will be announced. Check the CGC Booth (#513) for more details.

Thanks to Kris Moore and staff for making this possible.

Just so everybody knows we are also having a limited signing with Brian hitch on saturday. As of today he told me to meet him saturday morning and he would sign then. So everybody drop off your books to the CGC booth. I am paying Mr. Hitch a sizable donation for the signing. donations will be accepted in advance but aren't required. The money will be given to ACTOR or CBLDF.

Thank you

Kris Moore

Thanks Kris! And of course none of it would be possible without your running around like a madman getting everyone their books signed! You are one in a million my friend!

And this is just the tip of the SS signings we have planned for future events! Stick around and enjoy the ride folks!

Thanks guys, you should be proud of all of your hard work. 893applaud-thumb.gif

I'll probably have a few hardcovers of mine to slip into the Bryan Hitch pile. I'll make sure to include my donation to charity!

I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again on the weekend. We've got a lot to talk about.

Peter and I leave for Dallas around 4PM on Thursday. You have until then, but I would recommend you bring them by Paradise tomorrow when you come to get your new books so that they can be properly packed for the flight.

Hey this is an oppurtunity don't say never mind. get the books to paradise. Brian hitch doesn't come to america very often. This Van Sciver signing is a big deal too. Jon had to work very hard to set these things set up. It is not easy getting some of these big name guys to do signings.

nice tag line chrisco I remember when I said that to the beyonder. I like all these praises and questions about me. I really am just a normal guy trying to have fun and help everyone else have fun too. Did anybody read the 5 page thread asking who I was. I never expected something like that. But back on Subject Yeah ethan is great and I am glad he is doing this for me and CGC

A word of caution...

Ethan is a total flake (in an aritst sort of way). You need to make sure you go get him and escort him to wherever he is supposed to be. If you don't he will definitely be late and might not ever show up.

Thanks Kris,

No it wasnt easy to set up the signings for EVS or Hitch (well worth it though!), and as you said Kris, Bryan Hitch isn't in the states every convention! Imagine e-mailing Bryan and realizing every time I respond he is sleeping and vice versa, makes for some long waits for that reply...

Right now it is a holiday week over there (2 holidays in the same week). India gets 14 company holidays. Here in the US we get 7. Guess that's what we get for making 3 times more than them. But I sure don't remember getting 14 holidays when I made as little as they do.

Thanks to Ethan Van Sciver for signing and sketching at the CGC booth from 11AM to 12:30 PM on Sunday morning.

Also, special thanks to Bryan Hitch for joining us at the CGC booth from 11:30AM to 1PM on Saturday November 5. He was hoping to return again on Sunday from 2 to 3 but had to leave early to catch his flight home to the UK.
