EU/UK attendees at New York Comic Con 2022 0

Hi

Lest it's needed again for travel in October 2022 , can anyone tell me how convert an EU or UK covid pass to the American format? Thanks for any help on this.

I may be out of the loop being in Florida, USA, but I'm not sure what an American format covid pass would be.

Is someone telling you that you need one? I thought I had read that NYC loosened restrictions on indoor dining and stuff like that.

Briefly scanned https://www.newyorkcomiccon.com/en-us/about/health-and-safety.html and didn't see anything. Gonna have to look up what a UK covid pass is.

You'll just need proof of vaccination, same as you'll need to fly into the country.  Manhattan has relaxed most of its restrictions.

Thanks for your responses. As stated above this is a hypothetical. IF required to prove covid-vaccinated in October, I would assume the folks checking peoples' proofs at Jacob Javitts would recognise US formatted proof. It's likely simple to convert UK/EU data to a US format. I'm hoping a fan from the uk/eu will previously have experienced this and can tell me the process.

Hi, there is an App called Clear that was acceptable in San Diego and other locations.  The App is available on iphones and android phones.  You just upload your ID like a passport, and your vaccination card and then it checks it and then issues you an ok, especially if it is to an event.  For the SDCC, the event was listed for it.  

 

However they accepted seeing a vaccination card, or a digital vaccination card which is given in the US.

Discussion about that app was not welcomed by the mods last year re: NYCC.
