Do Marvel Tales hold any kind of value? 0

Based on the climbing sales, I'd say that ultra high grade Marvel Tales definitely has some value. Some of the cover art for original or even reprints are doing well in NM or better.

For your comics in the 7.5 range, 1 or 2 bucks each sounds right, especially if they reprint keys or include major villains like the Green Goblin.

Truth. I never collected Marvel Tales, but I did read Marvel's Greatest Comics, and found that they regularly cut out a Jack Kirby full-page panel for space, figuring it would have minimal story impact. Still. YOU DON'T CUT A FULL-PAGE KIRBY FOR SPACE!

The Marvel Tales I always look for is #253. Moebius cover. Newsstand helps too.
