Heat Press Temperatures Fluctuating - Help! 2 2

My press' temperature increases as time decreases. Sometimes the temperature also decreases. The temperature should be constant throughout the session. For this example a typical setting I use is 160 degrees at 5 mins (300 secs). Notice how the temps jump as the time changes. Sometimes it gets as high as 200 degrees! Has anyone experienced this issue and successfully resolved it?

Well if it's anything like restaurant equipment I'd say your thermostat is shot.

Yea. The issue is in the control box. I just need someone to walk me through troubleshooting. Do you know where to locate the thermostat? I couldn’t identify it

How cheap was the press?

What kind of press is it?

There are heat sensors under the pads ( where you put the books )Thats the bit that slides into your heater cover near the elements (there will be one there already) that detects the temperature and on most presses thermostat should be in the control box.

Typically not cheap. I’ve had this model twice before and not experienced this issue. I purchased it new “open box”. Maybe that was my mistake. Saving $35 but in the long haul not such a great deal. In the description the seller writes they “stand behind their product and are happy to assist if you experience an issue”. That wasn’t the case when I messaged them
