Sale, and Norm Steinberg story art.  Tape along 85% of spine (outside only).  Probably done to stabilize multiple short transverse tears, since there is no splitting.  Piece out at right edge of front cover.

Superb Jerry Robinson cover (and another of my personal Top-60 Atlas war covers).  Yes, Robinson did much more than just ink Kane's Batman layouts and create the most iconic sidekick and villain of all time (Robin and The Joker)!   Ben Benulis, Gene Colan, Art Peddy, and Hy Rosen story art.  Pieces out at top-left corner and right edge of front cover.  Moisture stain at spine bottom.

Navy Combat #2 (Atlas; Aug 1955).  Grade = 2.0 GD cr-wh.  Price = $22.
Joe Maneely cover.  Dìck Ayers, Dave Berg, Don Heck, and Joe Sinnott story art.  1½" splits at spine top and bottom.  Ultra-glossy, with oxidation tanning to all edges of outside/inside front/back covers.  And yes, page color really does vary between cream (edges) and white (centers).

Clem Weisbecker cover and story art.  I'm not a big fan of most Fawcett war books, but this one is pretty good (in fact, it's one of my personal Top-5 Fawcett war covers).  Cover detached at top staple.  Rusty staples.  Inside covers are cream, with a light tan oxidation halo.
