PGM ASM 300 3 3

There is this linear stain on four random pages,  not on the adjacent page... could this be a printing issue? The page does not look like it's been wet.  How would it affect the grade?

Never saw this before. If it's a printing error, should be ok

My guess is 9.2/9.4 (some of the corners are cropped in the pics). It looks like a nice copy.

I'd also guess the interior stain is a manufacturing defect and @zzutakmight know what kind.

If that is a stain , would be closer to an 8.5.

I had a 9.8 candidate once sent it in, came back 8.5 because of a pinhole stain on the cover.

Would bet dollars to donuts it's a printing defect, so no effect on grade IMO.

I'd put it at 9.4

Initially i thought it was but it's weird that the adjacent pages ( that face the stain  when the book is closed) are totally normal.

It's on two pages  that are separated by several totally unstained pages

Could be a printing issue.

Looks like a manufacturing defect to me.

A very attractive copy with nice eye appeal...be happy, my friend. Nothing's perfect except marigolds and moonbeams...

I agreed with him.   It came from the paper roll.
