Love this cover! Pure Kirby. Wish we could turn the clock back and give him his just due. Book has some creases on front and back. Light water stain on f/c in the upper left hand corner. Hard to see. Blunted corners. Light water stain on back cover bottom of spine. Nothing amiss on the inside. Everything complete. Let me know what you think. Thanks everyone!

Looks like some tears around the top staple too? Water stains set my maximum around 6.0, and then move down from there based on the other defects. It seems like the small tears & creases are going to knock this down a bit more. 5.0±0.5. I love me some Kirby too, as the cover photo on my profile will attest. I'd like to see Kirby et al get some of the love/credit that Stan Lee hoovered up over the years. I think it's clear the Lee was able to refine his colleagues ideas and market them well. No doubt that was important to making Marvel what it is today, but without Kirby, I doubt we have nearly the same creative output.

Lately I've seen many CGCs with light water stains in the 6.5 to 7.5 range so I have to disagree with 5.0/5.5..WIth the light stains and tears, dents I'd go6.5/7.0.
