Alright down to the last month before the show. We are set at 19 dealers for the show. If you are on the fence
about coming you should really make the trip. I'd be at this show an hour early if I was buying just for the opportunity.
You will spend hours here looking at books. This show has plenty of room to walk around and look at all booths
this is not a cramped show and when I say its 19 comic book dealers its actually 19 comic book dealers.

Down to the last week. Took a couple of days off work to prepare. Just organizing books now. 
FB page has been growing nicely which is a good indicator for attendance. Random calls this week
from dealers wanting to set up. I will have a wait list for next show thats for sure.

I'm going to be down in Cincinatti that weekend but it looks like it will be a bit too far for me to venture over for a half day.  You guys are pretty a few hours from all the hot spots (Nashville, Louisville, Indianapolis & St Lois).

This is true, but here is my counter to that. Its been a long time since I have been to any comic book show in the midwest that features 19 dealers at once.

Even the large shows now cater more to T shirt vendors, trinkets, and cosplay. I have turned down several requests from dealers like that because I don't want to become that.  I like the venue because its large so no one feels
cramped and they can sit at tables and read their books and as well as have some pizza from a local pizza place there. 

Even the last Wizard I went to in STL didn't have that many dealers. As long as my crowds keep getting bigger all continue to add a dealer each show. Slow growth is good growth. 

Ive done alot of advertising in Louisville 80 miles away and Paduach and I get a few from Nashville and Clarksville. Its all about getting the word out and making contacts with other shows that we can cross promote each event.

I had one guy from STL last show who showed up because they had a comic convention that only had 4 dealers same show so he came over here and bought around 100 books. 

Some of you will eventually do what I did. Get tired of driving to Cons that no longer cater to us so you will make your own show.

Depends what you family likes honestly. 
Plenty of Caves, State Parks, recreational stuff.
Fall Festival in Oct is 2nd largest in country behind Mardi Gras. 
Holiday World is always popular in Summer.

We have people who come from all over the country. Its goes on for 6 days and is 6 blocks long of 
food, games and talent shows among other things. All the booths are charitible organizations so the money
goes to good causes. All types of while foods like Donut burgers, Gator Gumbo, Brain sandwhiches, Monsters
ears and such. What many people love is meeting people they havent seen for a year there. For some its an 
annual event they travel back for. It is however not very healthy most food is deep fried lol.

Thank You for the additional info.  Yes, not very healthy food but unfortunately I like that type of food.  LOL!  
The missies and I will try to make it up there one year.
