Comicvt
Thanks for taking a look at this. Do you think a press and clean would help the grade at all? Galen130
MrRoboto
If the book is not wavy at all then no.
Anjuk
What's Silver Surfer #1 worth in 2022? Nine copies of this issue exist at NM 9.4, with a top historical price of $33,000 in 2016. If you picked up a FN 6.0 for $150 in 2002, you'd be looking at a current value around $600 for a 400% profit! A GD 2.0 purchased for $45 in 2005 is now worth about $225. watch stories cc generator Edited March 15, 2023 by Anjuk
mrlatko
Don't see any defects that look like they could be pressed, but hard to tell. Looks like a solid 5.0.
mephistopheles
Guessing around 6.0, maybe 6.5 with a clean and press by someone who knows what they are doing..
djzombi
Considering it looks like most of the offending damage is color that has been removed by creases, blunting and the like, I honestly wouldn't bother. A clean might whiten up that back cover, though. *Might.*

grendelbo
5.5/6.0 Hard to tell if a C&P will improve the book's condition. Give us a few more pics detailing this copy's flaws and a good view of both covers under raking light. Thanks for posting.
Galen130
A cleaning won't help the foxing on the bottom of the back cover, but it might improve some of the light soil/ink transfer spots. 5.0/5.
