Vinyl collectors love doing that. Say purple colored vinyl is changed to white colored vinyl, some residue could be left on the stamper and can create purple color spots on the first few white vinyls, which - naturally - means that someone who finds one of these quality control errors freaks out and lists it for 50X the normal price claiming it's a RARE VARIANT. :ohnoez:
