Just got this off ebay. See a stain on FC, bottom right. Also the top staple looks like it was never there. Does that affect the grade less than a pulled staple?

If it's completely unstapled, I don't think that matters. It's a production defect. The bottom staple looks recessed, but the stain & the missing piece are the bigger concern. I think 5.5/6.0. I think I see enough minor wear to add on top to knock it off the 6.5ish tier, which is where I think the stain/piece alone would max out.

If it was manufactured without a staple it would not affect the grade (especially in this grade range.)
