It literally is constructive criticism show side profile it shows the Seam and the thickness of the slab . It should not be up to the buyer to “find” out what they are buying that’s literally our jobs as sellers . And your account is brand new basically you might have decades of sales in person where people can see what they are buying but 3 pictures sucks as I said cgc had several different slab styles and the label alone does not tell you that . But of course you do not know that . The two slabs I bought are both old style but the spider woman is thin old style the Dc comic is thick both have the same label style only way to know is see the side of the case literally would take two seconds to post one more Picture . Your wife was very nice and respectful and genuinely seemed like she wanted to help and find out what was going on you just gaslight and do no wrong it’s my fault it’s cgcs fault . You are the seller the burden is on you to show exactly what someone is buying

No it’s not constructive criticism, it’s you

butt hurt by a slab issue that I have no control over. And you did say that the comic could be removed. Want to try to hurt my reputation, go ahead. I’ve been selling comics
for decades and rarely had a customer like you, Need some more comics?

All I can say is lol . Include a side profile in your posts to show seal is intact and what type of case it is . I said I would not have bid had I known it was this style case a legit concern . You can say whatever you want you should have had a side profile . Never said it was broken or not how cgc made it I said if you had taken more pictures I would not have bought it . Include more pictures end of story . And I would never buy from you and would not recommend anyone else either . You don’t know about your own comics apparently you want to throw a fit and blame me when I was only saying I was not happy with it and cry like a little person_without_enough_empathy over me having a legit response I didn’t say I was gonna return it I didn’t say I wanted any just for you to do better next time . I even said yea it’s on me for not doing extensive research you know because that makes more sense than you posting one more photo . So yea not happy with it and definitely think you suck as a person . I was just moving on and living with it but now I feel the need to warn others about your customer service . I sell on eBay and can take constructive criticism you don’t apparently

I don’t care. This was a properly “sealed” comic when released by CGC. You now say it not what you want. Again the CGC number will tell you when it was graded. I did nothing wrong. You did if you wanted a certain slab. Never claimed it had a certain”seal”. You are not happy with the slab. Got that. Not my problem. But if you wanted a certain slab you needed to do your due diligence beforehand. Don’t person_without_enough_empathy to me because the slab wasn’t up to your standards. I never asked you to bid on it. And frankly, you asked for more comic recommendations from my collection. Not sure I would offer that now seeing how anal you are to a normal exchange.

You clearly have no idea what you are taking about . Comics graded before 2016 had different styles of slabs the old ones are not sealed . Newer ones are super Sonically sealed . Being “giant” sized has nothing to do with it let me show you what I mean since you don’t have an idea . See how it’s not a sealed slab . You should really know what you are selling . And looking up cgc reference number only tells what date it was graded it could be any of the slabs they used at that time . And yea tons of people don’t want older slabs because they are not sealed bigger and do not match . Don’t be a smart because you didn’t know

That is not my problem. I put images up to include the CGC number. You not liking the slab after the sale is irrelevant. The number was there. If you didn’t do your due diligence beforehand is on you. I have no idea what you are talking about about the slabs. And never heard of preferences or slabbing other then the halo issue they had a couple years ago. This is a Giant sized comic and will be thicker then the norm. Don’t like the slab, talk to CGC. There is no way of separating the comics without breaking the slab. I offered the comic in good faith and now get shade when you want a particular slab. Again, talk with CGC.

It was made that way . It didn’t open . It’s the old style . It didn’t show pictures of the side of in the description I didn’t realize it was cgcs old Slab style you can’t tell unless you see how thick it is . They are not sealed like new ones are so a lot of people don’t want them I would not have bought it had I known

My husband said, that’s the way it was and always has been.

I personally packed it and had no idea it opened.

What did I do that is wrong?

What did you do wrong?  The short answer is you didn't send your books to mycomicshop and let them deal with the eholes.

If you had, you'd have a bit more money and not have to worry about these things. Let someone else do it.

Hope all is well with you and yours.  Send MCS your books and find a hobby that doesn't involve dealing with eclowns.

What you did wrong was that you interacted with the "customer" on ebay.

When contacted the only response should be to wait 24 hours and send the following:

Hello,

It seems that you are unhappy with your purchase, please use the return policy provided by ebay if you wish to return the book

thanks

Make sure your auction return policy is "no returns" which means they have three days to open a case and return any item to you.

Arguing will not do anything except make you look dumb and petty, which it did.. it will also have the adverse reaction should the buyer open a case and claim you harassed him through Ebay messages. Which will make Ebay even more inclined to side with the buyer.

The buyer is unreasonable. If the slabbing style is a huge factor (obviously it was after purchase) the buyer should have asked for more pics before bidding. Not liking how a slab looks is not sufficient cause for backing out. It wasn't cracked or unsealed. Having a preference in which cases he finds asthetically pleasing is fine. Making an issue of it after auction ending is ridiculous.

To help the seller, definitely add more pics. Also avoid losing your cool with your responses. I had a friend get so angry at a seller for not properly packaging an item, he used profanity which did not help him when it came to making a claim.

I'm generally a fan of posting pictures of all sides of an item, but hardly ever see pictures of the sides of slabs. If it mattered that much to the buyer, they should have requested additional pictures.
