It’s too obscured. Torrey is contacting CGC tomorrow to see if they will even accept a return. I asked if the book can be given back to Ash to give it a once over to possibly touch any areas and press and see. I don’t have high hopes. This is the craziest thing I’ve seen happen to a book during shipping. It’s so bad, they had to put the contents in a plastic bag with a WE CARE sticker on it. Going to have it pressed and hope for the best, I have serious doubts it retains a 9.8. Looks banged up from peering through the inner well. Out of my hands now. I have a few of her first sketch covers and the first to bring her to the boards. I’ve been trying hard to get a commission sketch from him and he told me that he doesn’t do commission sketches. 🤷♂️ congrats on the sketch!
