Interesting snipe at Wertham by EC.

I noticed this whilst updating the CGC GA library today.

We all know Wertham was responsible for death of EC and many other PCH publishers one way or another.

In the last issue of HOF 28, EC published a death knell for their books as we know (seen below).

What is very interesting is that I think EC took a parting shot at Wertham as part of their swan song in their lead story for this issue.

Wertham was certainly a prude if nothing else so their story 'The Prude' has as its protagonist a character called  citizen Warren Frobisher which just happens to be a reversal of initials Frederick Wertham.

Warren comes to a fittingly embarrassing end as well.

I've read ECs completely many times over the years and never noticed this..... hm
