Having an insert graded 1 1

I was wondering if CGC will grade an insert that was in a comic. I am a Jurassic Park collector and have several JP comics graded however I know that there was an insert in some of the comics that you could send in to win an Amberchrome version of the #1 comic. I have pulled one of those inserts out and would love to have that graded if possible. I posted the insert. Any thoughts?

They grade weird s**t all the time. Call 'em and let us know.

I called them and the answer was: "CGC cannot grade any floating items. Unfortunately, we are unable to grade these coupons."

It's really too bad because I would have loved to have this encapsulated. It's kind of like a memory. When I was a kid I collected two of each issue. One to preserve (my Dad always told me to take care of my comics) and one copy to take the coupon insert out to mail in. Having the coupon on display just reminds me of the fun of looking for the next issue when it came out.

There is something to be said about a kid's experience reading and collecting comics versus that same kid collecting as an adult.

Pop them in a mylar. It will display very nicely and preserve your insert.
