Does pressing get rid of finger prints and stains on the cover?

Hello! This varies greatly depending on the severity of the prints and stains on the book. Light fingerprints can be lifted with Pressing; however, if the oils have soaked into the books, then they will not be able to be cleaned. I have a comic that I was thinking about getting pressed, it is CGC graded 9.6 .  I just found out it had already has been pressed, so would it be a waste of time to try and have it again, or would there still be a chance of it getting a 9.8?   thanks.

Hello, 

This is hard to say without having the book in hand. There is always a possibility that the book may go up a bit if regraded but it could also go down in grade as well.

Thanks.  I didn't type my post correctly, I was trying to ask if pressing again could help.  I don't know where this person had the comic pressed the first time.
