On a side note..
There was a bust in canada recently in the news where they recovered 400k of collectibles from various shops in Ontario from sports cards, Pokémon cards and comics.. I know unfortunately one shop I follow who had their shopped broken into didn’t get this stuff back even though the criminals were caught… hopefully u have better luck…

I did get a call from my detective on the case today.  Somebody did try to pawn some books,  unfortunately they were CGC books and not mine.

At least they are still working on my case.

This is great news! Let’s hope these guys get caught and you get some/all the books back! The Island is small so hopefully they’ll mess up and sell to the wrong person.

I am terribly sorry that happened to you.   It happened upon me once. 

My mega high grade Batman and Detective Comics were en route to Clink via USPS but the tracking number showed the last location in Chicago Distribution Center. It had been three weeks but I found them on eBay. All certification numbers on all CGC books were matched.  They somehow owned my books without my consent or authorization. The company was Sell My Comic Books and Goldin. I asked them where they got my books. Those books were sold via their website. I showed them the certification numbers and pictures so they realized that they bought the stolen books.  I reported it to my local police and they did same thing to their local police in two different states. I already reported to US Postal Inspection earlier. It was a good thing that thief received the payment from the company via PayPal.  We had her name.  She was a postal worker who stole my books. PayPal knew about the incident and paid the money back to the company. The company agreed to ship all my books to Clink. I was lucky that I knew one former Clink employee well and he is nice to help me out.   All books were recovered but one and arrived safe at Clink.  

I pray for you and your books are returned immediately.
