What can I say folks? After 10,000 well thought out contributions to the zeitgeist, is there anything left to say? The short answer is, "Yes", but let's beat around the bush to get there in a roundabout sort of way. Once you've contributed to the national conversation with 10,000 nuggets of wisdom, what's next? If you were worried that I'd hang up my keyboard and sail west to the undying lands, you can rest easy knowing that I shall remain here to guide this place to either greatness or into the ground. Your beloved éminence grise is here to stay for another 10,000 posts.

With that being said, let the gala festival celebration party shindig begin! Please, no gifts. But if the desire to gift is overwhelming, I will humbly accept.

Enjoy the party! Send your congratulations if you're so inclined. I'm getting flooded with congratulations; they've been coming in from friends, family, foreign dignitaries, and celebrities all day!

It was written that on the day the King of Rulers reaches his 10,00th post, it will be in the mid 60's in the Washington DC area.

And I will have a chicken, bacon wrap for lunch.
