Grottu
Wondering what opinions are on this one given what appears to be a manufacturing miscut that caused the cover to wrap around the back too far. Staple placement is also a little strange. At first, I wondered if it had been screwed around with, ie, someone trimmed and/or restapled it but that does not seem to be the case. Interior wraps are in really good shape. Still, I'm unsure how the defects could affect the grade...
FoggyNelson
Looks unusual but still probably 4.0 Grottu and 1950's war comics 1

comicginger1789
Miswraps are common for the era. I think it’s fine just a printing issue and I think a 5.0-5.5 is quite obtainable here Grottu
scburdet
Almost every defect discussion in the CGC Guide includes qualifiers about GA (and some SA) comics b/c the manufacturing process was slapdash b/c the books were considered cheap, disposable entertainment. Miswraps like this only count for deductions if the book is in otherwise ≥9.0 condition, which is not the case here. To me this book looks really nice given the age & era. 5.0±0.5 where the different defects along the edges set the grade. Grottu
