Playing off my other thread. The criteria is as follows:

1: 24 issues or less.

2: Must have been conceived as having a beginning, middle, and end.

3 : No One Shots.

4: Has historical significance to comics.

My votes are for DKR, COIE, Secret Wars, Watchman, The Long Halloween.

Thoughts?

I'll go with The Punisher Limited series (Circle of Blood story from 1986), although the first comic I ever purchased off a spinner rack was ASM #129, I never really cared about the character until the limited series was released, upon this I was hooked, and suspect many others were as well. This series begged for more appearances from this character...and we as fans got them.

Great story, along with Classic covers to boot from Zeck...

Purely great with no explanation needed.

1. Kingdom Come

1. Batman The Dark Knight Returns

1. Sin City A Dame to Kill For

1. The Watchmen

Almost there

Civil War because it made me hate one of my all time favorite characters while making me admire a character I’d lost interest in.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen because it made me care about characters I no longer cared about. Made them relevant again.

Jupiter’s Legacy because issue #3 ranks up there with Miracleman #15 in one of greatest “ I can’t believe they did that” moment. Very underrated miniseries.

The Ultimates because The Authority volume 1 is 29 issues😆 and this run is as close as Marvel ever got to replicating that book’s feel.

Superman Doomsday Hunter Prey Because it was a very imaginative origin story.
