scburdet
One of those books I already owned, but really was below really collectible standards (stained). Casual shopped for a long time now & was surprised no one was bidding on this copy, so I'm wondering if your grades will be close to the seller's . Definitely, the nicest raw copy I'd seen in a while. The one thing I can see now that wasn't noticeable in the listing is a light crease from the title to the Puppet Master. <4" & doesn't extend to the edges. It hides well in the full cover shot, although I'm pretty sure my higher resolution camera shows it pretty well. Seller says: Spoiler 5.5 or better. grendelbo
5.0 That diagonal crease. Top edge kinda looks trimmed? Thanks for posting.

The cover still overhangs the inner pages, The edges have small imperfections, similar to all edges (we're at the limit of the camera's abilities here. I think the photos make the edge look cleaner than it is). The two corners look "naturally" rounded to me, but that & $5 will buy you a new book at your LCS. If it was trimmed, I would say that it had to happen a while ago. grendelbo

cchunn3
That is a GREAT copy! Most of the "Marvel" titles [Strange Tales, Tales of Suspense, Tales to Astonish and Marvel Tales] still available have had all the love read right out of 'em! scburdet
scburdet
I think this is an interesting case study for grading. The cover crease, although long, is designated moderate. I'll bet the back cover crease was the tipping point to a 5.5 or 6.0. This is by far the nicest looking "low grade" CGC I have large crease full center of back coverlight wear to coverlight, multiple finger creases front coverlight, multiple spine stress lines breaks colormoderate creasing to cover Mars76 and grendelbo
