Picked it up today, slabbed as a 7.0 by the other guys. Uncorked now.  Looks like some pencil was removed below Mrs. Rap Slap's word bubble. Thoughts?

Not really; looks like OW is the most consistent.

Seems to me like that color rub/eraser was the determining factor then. I suspect it would be close to the 7.0 with the location/severity of the ink loss. Too bad someone hit it with the eraser. I'd bet the untouched pencil would have come in a grade higher.

I think the color rub and rusted staples are going to keep this book right around a 7.0 too. If that spot hadn't been hit with an eraser I could see this book getting an 8.0.
