50YrsCollctngCmcs Posted April 9, 2023 Share Posted April 9, 2023 I recall being down in the New York City subways in the early seventies and walking by an underground newsstand that had TOP Comics on display hung from clothing pins. So that practice of hanging books went on for a long time. I remember thinking it was odd that they had those TOP comics for sale since they were already pretty old at that point; but lots of weird stuff dealing with distribution went on in NYC and the surrounding areas back then.
