how do we know when a SS event actually starts? 1 1

Hello,

   New and did my first book for a SS in house event. I know its the 6-8 weeks TAT AFTER the event starts from what I can gather but how do we know when that date is? is there another anouncement that would be put out of via email etc? I have seen some people get books back WAYYY quicker that 6-8 weeks and some even before the deadline was and I know this all depends on the artists schedule etc but I am not sure how well the communication form CGC is for these events.
