PGM Batman 181 First Poison Ivy 1 1

A recent find 'in the wild'. Note that it has a subscription crease to the rear which is visible as a bend on the front with mild color loss at the top and bottom. The pin up is present. The staples are well attached.

Is this worth the time and expense to have CGC grade it? To be pressed?

I was going to say 2.0-2.5 (but my first round track record in the grading contest wasn't great, so take it with a grain of salt...).

A 2.0 graded is somewhere around a $200-300 book. So I guess the question of grading depends on how much you already have into it and how much grading will cost you. Low grade with the pin-up intact look like they fetch a range between $100-200. Might be better off just selling it raw if you're looking to sell.

No higher than 2.0 in my eyes but we've seen some shocks here once the 'Grade is in' so I would not be surprised if the label said 3.5

I wasn't the original grader, but on cert lookup it was Jan 2020. I always thought it looked nicer than a 3.0, but it does have a detached centerfold, so maybe a 3.0 is the highest grade it can get with that defect?

it's worth grading if it is included in a batch of comics for submission , but not worth the grading fees and postage both ways if you are mailing just this one out individually

If staples are attached and there's no pieces missing. Centerfold attached etc... this could be a 3.0.

That spine is pretty rough, as is the cover.. I don't see it getting any higher than a 3.0, but it looks complete so no lower than 2.0.  A press will probably make it feel better in you hands but it is not going to replace the lost color and I don't think it will improve the grade.

It will get around 2.5/3.0. No less but slight higher.  Pressing?  Maybe the grade will remain same.  Too many damages on the spine and subscription crease with a tear at the top edge prevent higher grade.
