KQRaccoon
I can't seem to find the dimensional limits in terms of card thickness on the site. Does anyone know if CGC will grade cards that are like 180 or 240 pt thick? I know the PSA does. Thank you.
Administrator NickiO CS Posted May 21, 2023 Administrator Share Posted May 21, 2023 Hello @KQRaccoon, Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry; however, CGC Trading Cards only grades standard-size cards and our holders are not designed for thick cards with 180 or 240 pt thickness. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
spoonard
I think you might be mistaken here. Here is a link to a Black Diamond Cosmic Stone Relic card graded by CGC. These are either 130 point or 180 point cards. I know this post is almost a year old and things may have changed, but I only came across it because I was searching the forums for how to package thicker cards properly when sending them in for grading and this is the only result I have found touching on the subject of thicker card stocks. Administrator CGCRyan Posted February 16 Administrator Share Posted February 16 Currently, CGC Cards accepts cards sized 2-5/8” x 3-3/4” (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller. Cards may be up to 7.25mm thick.
