Will CGC authenticate a trading card without giving it a grade? 1 1

I want to submit my childhood base set charizard card to be put in a slab. But it's pretty damaged and I'm not at all concerned or care about the grade it's going to receive. I know tat PSA will do "authentic" slabs instead of giving the card a grade and I was wondering if CGC does the same.
