Sony's MILES MORALES SPIDER-MAN live movie pending (TBD)

As “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” finally hits theaters this weekend, the producers behind the trilogy have their attention set on the third installment, next year’s “Beyond the Spider-Verse.” However, that’s not the only web-slinging project that’s on their minds.

Producer Amy Pascal says a Spider-Woman and live-action Miles Morales movie are in the works. “You’ll see all of it,” she told me Tuesday at the “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” premiere in Los Angeles. “It’s all happening.”

Producer Avi Arad teased that moviegoers will see a “Spider-Woman” movie “sooner than you expect.”

“I cannot tell you yet, but it’s coming,” he said.

I read the actual quote.  No such movie is actually "pending".  The woman doesn't even work for Sony for crying out loud.  Lol

I'll respond only because it would appear you read the wrong article, and "the woman" is the contracted producer of the Sony Spider-Verse films

LOL not necessary, as at least I helped guide you to reality.

Except, as I said , she is not actually a "producer" at Sony, she only gets a legacy credit there because of her involvement with the original films, and no where in that article did she say "a live action miles morales movie (is) in thr works".  That part is spin by the author of the article.  "It's all happening" is all she said and  that doesn't mean anything.  What's "all happening"?  Sony has hundreds of spider characters they own, and yeah I bet they're looking at some kind of way to monetize all of them., morales was singled out by the hopium smoking  shill media, not by her,   not that she will be the one deciding on any of them.

The only actual confirmation of a movie actually in development that she mentioned was the MCU spider-man 4 which is on hold because of the writers strike.  RIF. (thumbsu

You're not serious, right? This is a Friday haahaa moment?

Did you assume she was just walking by during a Spider-Man: No Way Home interview with Feige and hopped in?

Come on. Find some real discussion points to target. Not noise just to disrupt the forum.

You can believe whatever you want about her actual position of influence there, my point stands.

You'll likely end up waiting longer for this movie to happen than you did Black Adam.  lol

Regardless, Sony would be fools to not put this on the high priority list to make it happen. They will make soooo much money off this property. Especially if done right with the right cast and -script.  I'm surprised that Sony inherited this property with the spider-man deal they made back in the late 90s as Miles hadn't even been created yet.

What you put in bold is not her quote. That's the writer's assumption to click bait.

VARIETY: ‘Spider-Man’ Producers Tease Live-Action Miles Morales Movie and Animated ‘Spider-Woman’ Film

So you're saying Variety misquoted Amy Pascal and Avi Arad?

"You'll see all of it" was the quote. That's it. We don't know what was asked before. The rest that writer is adding more than what was said.

Avi only talked about Spider-woman.
