Bends and creases are super hard to see in slabs. I’ve gotten that note many times myself, sometimes after ordering a press which totally confuses me since that’s what a press is supposed to address. Miscuts count against grade in cards but I thought CGC didn’t penalize production errors with comics so I’m at a loss there

The miswrap is just a note. Not all notes indicate grade impacts, not all defects are noted. It is what it is. A miswrap/miscut depending on severity can grade between 9.0-9.8. The rule of thumb in the book is ¼" is the allowable white overhang before it grading in the lower range really kicks in. This one is diagonal, I have a 9.2 with a similar note, albeit on the label b/c it is a 1st gen slab. My LCS has a Qualified 9.8 for a miswrap/miscut on display. It's so off square it's comical. They slabbed it for the novelty.
