How long does it take to get reholdered Books back?

I had a shipment of books come into my local LCS in March. I am new to grading so I went through them since the service was offered. The shipment had a couple of slabs that had small plastic pieces encased with the books. There was also one cracked and one scuffed. My LCS kept the books and were going to send them back for reholdering. My thought would be that CGC would cover the ones with the plastic pieces in them and I could be charged for the others. I told the LCS to let me know if any additional charges applied and I would cover it. I am not sure if they returned them in the 14 day period. As you might have guess since I'm asking this question, I still haven't seen the books and my LCS says they haven't received any updates. What is the normal turn around time that other collectors have experienced? Is there anything that would make this time extend? Any advice on where to go from here?

Hello @SkyBornSamurai,

Thank you for contacting us. Mechanical Errors do not have a specific time frame in that they are regularly completed. This is because each ME is different and some need specific review by our graders or need to go through the claims department. For a good estimate, on the timeline, please use the currently posted Reholder service turnaround time but once again ME submissions do not fit perfectly into this timeline. I would suggest reaching out to the shop you submitted with to ask what the submission form number or order number was. This will allow us to better assist you.
