ASM 238 tattoo 1 1

Hi there, I have a copy of ASM 238 without the tattoos, if I bought the tattoos separately & I and sent the comic off to cgc would it still get a green label.  Do the tattoos have to be attached to the comic

Yes, they have to be attached to the comic as they were when it hit the newsstands.

Not all Amazing Spider-man #238 copies have Tattooz inserts.  Those ASM 238 copies have received the green labels because Tattooz inserts were removed. CGC graders can detect it as defects like some pages were ripped or the wraps were apart slightly where the insert was there. Sometimes, the inserts were cut or torn half.  If all wraps are tight together and no insert is in present, it's not the defect.  Check it out with more information below.

More expense book would be ASM #238 with Tattooz insert and CPV (Canadian Price Variant) or ASM #238 with Tattooz insert and Mark Jewelers Advertising.  Both are extremely rare than either ASM #238 Newsstand or Direct Edition.
