It happened in Boulder (where I live) and theft isn't really treated as a crime.  Police fill out a report for insurance fillings.  Best case for Wayne is he gets his stuff back and eats the cost to fix his window and and showcase.  Criminal will likely get probation depending on other pending charges.

Thief was a multiple offender with a warrant already I believe.Sounded like a real piece of . He'd run from the police before as well. Hopefully in this case DA will hit him with all he can and set bail high as a known flight risk.
