John Ostrander on Batman, just few issues in the start of 2007

For me, that was one of his weaker series. Okay, nothing special by his standards.

Alan Moore doing a full year of Batman stories in the 80s would have been a treat. We got The Killing Joke, a few Swamp Thing crossovers and the Clayface story in Annual #11, and I believe that's about it. He clearly knew the Bat-universe inside and out.
