MYSTERIOUS ADVENTURES #17 CGC 4.0 OW/W. Awesome PCH that it hurts to offer up. Mansplaining ghoul cover! and one of the best of this great run. Surprised this book wasn't a 4.5 at least. Strong four-figure sales in 2023; check GPA.

$1100

ROCKET COMICS #1 in .5. Incredibly scarce 1940 early sci-fi comic. Back cover is missing; front cover is taped to interior; interior is complete. White/OW pages with very nice freshness. The cheapest you'll ever find this classic cover.

$475

SUPERMAN #18 in .5. Classic WWII cover by Fred Ray with very solid eye appeal, white/OW pages. **This book is missing its centerfold**, else it looks and feels pretty comfortably VGish. It took me a long time to find a copy that presents this well; #18s tend to be plagued by heavy dust shadowing (the shadowing here oddly looks much softer in hand than in the scan) and yellowed/tanned cover whites, but this one's pretty bright. Comes with a nice color reproduction of the CF. Super low price for this classic cover!

$695  $650

DEAR LONELY HEARTS #3 4.0, #5 3.5. These Comic Media "romance" issues are a hoot, with serial killer stories and other over-the-top lurid stuff. Super tough books, the #3 in particular. Both covers have pulling at staples but still holding.

BLUE RIBBON COMICS #15 in .5. Complete coverless copy from this scarce, red-hot MLJ series. Hitler and Goebbels appear in the Mr. Justice story! Nicer than average for a 1941 coverless; outer wrap has some wear as shown but that's about the worst of it. Supple offwhite pages.

$80  SOLD

SUZIE #56 in 1.8/2.0. Low-grade copy of this MLJ GGA cover that's caught some heat lately. Fun read with cheesecake poses and an early Katy Keene story. Nice colors; cover detached at staples; fairly heavy rumples/bends to the book upper right; small cover pinhole to the right of Suzie; last 8 pages or so have a faint stain in the bottom margin.

$140  SOLD

SPOOK #27 in 2.0. Low-grader of this classic LB Cole horror cover... great garish color scheme with floating heads and beasties (there's quite a few!). Still presents well for grade with nice colors, some gloss left... worn spine with staple tears, eyes drawn in in pencil, cover "basically" detached at bottom staple while top staple is hanging on, corner splits and pieces out. C/OW pages. Last GPA sales: 1.8 @ $325, 2.0 @ $341.

$225
