Today I bring you originals by extremely talented artists who work in the animation and children's book fields. Most of these artists have exhibited in gallery shows with their personal visions. Some of these artists names you might not recognize, so I have included a short bio for each. Gemma Capdevila - Gemma Capdevila is a fine artist and illustrator. Her magical work is inspired by the natural world, the ocean, and the forest. She lives in Barcelona. Alina Chau - Alina Chau is an acclaimed author and illustrator. She worked in the animation and gaming industries for a decade, with credits including best-selling games, and most notably the Emmy Award-winning Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. Liana Hee - Liana Hee is a character designer and illustrator living and working in Los Angeles. She enjoys working traditionally, creating whimsical art with gouache paint on watercolor paper. Roberta MacDonald - Roberta Macdonald  Born, San Francisco, 1917. Died, Santa Rosa, California, 1999. New Yorker work: One hundred and three drawings, from May 4, 1940 – July 19, 1952. Besides contributing to The New Yorker, Ms. MacDonald also illustrated numerous humor books and children’s books. Line Paquet - Illustrator for children’s books and painter for all dreamers of the world. Working as a background artist in animation industry now on Tobie Lolness. Leo Politi - Leo Politi was an American artist and author who wrote and illustrated some 20 children's books, as well as Bunker Hill, Los Angeles (1964), intended for adults. His works often celebrated cultural diversity, and many were published in both English and Spanish. Kristina Vardazaryan - Kristina Vardazaryan is a Production Designer, Visual Development Artist and Illustrator based in Los Angeles. She has been working for studios such as Paramount Pictures, Reel Fx, Illumination and currently she is a production designer at Marvel Studios. Victoria Ying - Victoria Ying is a critically acclaimed author and artist living in Los Angeles. Her film credits include Tangled, Wreck it Ralph, Frozen, Paperman, Big Hero 6, and Moana.
