My notes:

• Light stain on the front right corner (you can see it slightly on the white part of the sleeve)
• Diagonal creasing in the center of the cover on the Shield, around 6" total
• Cover is strongly attached at the staple, but some tearing around the ends of the staple

It would be 5.0 without the diagonal creasing in the center. With it, my top grade would be 4.5—that's if there are no significant defects that I can't see in the scan.

Agree with @jimbo_7071; probably a strict 4.5 for staple area, center creasing, corner and reader creasing. Fab book -- looks way nicer!
