Superhero Women by Stan Lee #1 1977 Softcover

Featuring the Fabulous Females of Marvel
Like Origins of Marvel Comics, Son of Origins of Marvel Comics, and Bring on the Bad Guys, this softcover volume was a book about comics more than a trade paperback. Stan Lee wrote linking commentary between the comics he included, with a view toward giving the reader context for the comics they were about to read. The books in this "series" were thus able to be marketed towards a more general audience by Simon and Schuster than is typical of trade paperbacks today.
