The Avenger V1 #1, Sept 1939 General wear and chipping around the perimeter of both covers, Small piece of brown fabric tape lower spine, couple more inside FC. Piece out upper spine strip, I suspect a bit of glue repair along the spine, but if so it was well done. Displays well over all. Interior pages are supple, creamy, no brittleness. Includes a decapitation story, always jolly fun. Small split lower spine, pencil name across Our Heroine's face, bit of spine roll, general wear, tear at upper staple.
