I recently purchased this comic for $90 does anyone know if it was worth it?

It's hard to say what grade yours is, but looking at Heritage sales data from last year, looks like you did fine. (You should sign up at Heritage - it's free and gives you access to all of their past sales data.)

Those Tomahawk stories are great! Back in 1976 DC put out a Treasury called, Superman salutes the Bi-Centennial. It featured the great cover from Superman #14 and was filled with Tomahawk reprints. A bit of false advertising but it was a great introduction to that characters stories.

Yeah crazy huh? You would never know from the outside. I might even have bought my copy and not realized I was getting a bunch of Tomahawk reprints until I got home.

Indeed. I don’t read a lot of westerns but have always liked Tomahawk the most. Maybe, it’s the history buff in me. I collect Star Spangled from #65 to the end of the run. At first is was the Robin/Batman reason but I often find myself reading the Tomahawk story first.

Star Spangled from that point is a great title from a reading point. Lots of cool features cover to cover. Not to mention the end when it became a horror/detective book. Great title.
