Would appreciate some opinions on another one that I don't see often.  

There is a small chip on the bottom front corner.

Blunted corners with color loss, piece missing lower right corner/edge (1/16" x 1/4"), small spine split at top (?), minor spine stress with a few color breaking spine ticks on front cover, recessed staples (cover loose?) slight spine roll, moderate spine stress lines/creases on rear cover, dust/sun shadow/discoloration on outer edge of front cover and top edge and spine of rear cover, moderately creased/wrinkled interior pages at centerfold.

Is there are spine split?

Is the cover loose?

With or without those two defects listed above (Yes, it is a Golden Age Book and may get more lenient grading due to this) with the piece missing (which is not allowed until VG 4.0) I cannot assign a grade higher than...FN- 5.5

Some accumulation of minor bindery/printing defects is allowed. Minor cover wear apparent, with minor to moderate creases. Inks show a significant reduction in reflectivity. Blunted corners are more common, as is minor staining, soiling, discoloration, and/or foxing. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. A minor spine roll is allowed. There can also be a 1/4" spine split or severe color break. Staples may show minor discoloration. Minor staple tears and a few slight stress lines may be present, as well as minor rust migration. Paper is tan to brown and fairly supple with no signs of brittleness. Minor interior tears at the margin may be present. Centerfold may be loose.

Fits the criteria for Fine but with an additional defect or small accumulation of defects that detracts from the book's appearance by a perceptible amount.

Does the creased / wrinkled spines possibly fall into a "production defect?"

Otherwise; the cover is tight and there is not a spine split.

I am a bit surprise the missing piece or corner hits this book that much, but I get it.
