I'm surprised and saddened to hear of Mike's far too early demise.

I've been a regular user of Mike's site for more than fifteen years. It's the best! And I'm really glad it will continue to exist.

For pure nostalgia, looking back at a certain month and year, recalling memories of the comics you bought then and the situations you experienced, the Newsstand is unbeatable and indispensable. Can’t help revisiting it.

Used to go trough his website to find answer about all my stupid questions about DC... it was a gold mine of informations...

It should here be stressed that Mike's site is a treasure trove of information for not just DC comics but all comics. If you're toying with the idea of collecting every issue of say Charlton's Atomic Mouse or Harvey's Nutty Comics, they're all in Mike's Series Galleries. Or if you want a very good idea of the comics graced by Joe Maneely's or Howie Post's artwork or with stories written by Joe Simon, it's there under Creators.

I actually find "Mike's Amazing World of DC Comics" to be the single most useful info source for comics anywhere.

It would be great if GPA used or absorbed Mikes database.  We’d have covers and lots more info for each book right there when looking up prices.  How about it?
