How Does CGC Add New Cards to Their Catalog?
1 1

Hello, I have some Carddass cards (JJK, Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho) and Tokens from the recent Dr. Who magic set, which I would like to get graded that are not currently in the catalog when I search for them. Is CGC likely to add these? I see an option to add them manually - but I'm worried about putting in wrong information or typos - and also wonder whether CGC will actually grade them since they are not part of the catalog yet.

Hello @Alex Lobman

Thank you for reaching out to us. If your cards are not yet in the system, they will be built into the system when you submit them. When completing your submission form, do your best to enter accurate information on the manual card entry form, but do not worry. The grading team will verify the card type and card details as a normal part of the grading process.

CGC Cards accepts cards sized 2-5/8” x 3-3/4” (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller. Cards may be up to 7.25mm thick. You can view examples of cards we do not grade here: https://www.cgccards.com/card-grading/cards-we-grade/#no-grade

If you have any other questions, please let us know.
