Hey all, I'm hunting a copy of this comic and have noticed the one on ebay is a 9.8 and close to $2500 pounds. is this the going price for this issue? or is this a very escalated price..........? i havent seen any others to compare prices......

I'm not seeing anything near $2500 pounds. 

These prices are in US dollars but it looks like the last sale was $700.

as a general note, people can ask whatever they want for whatever they're trying sell.  Doesn't mean that is the actual market value.

true, i've seen numerous times cgc graded comic are marked at varying different prices. For example just recently.......i purchased both Suayan Foil CGC 9.8 batman 125 foil covers and postage for $400AUS , Where elsewhere on ebay, I'm seeing people sell 1 foil cover for $600AUS. Definitely pays to look around for a better price.
