Bojangles is always a big hit and you can't miss out on the Cheerwine!

My response was mostly in jest (but they are great fast food) but I've not heard of many food options near the facility.  Baltimore is right in the middle of the crab restaurant area with a ton of downtown restaurants but Charlotte just isn't the foodie place like Baltimore.  I'm sure there are nice places but I just can't think of one place people recommended when I was there a few years ago.

the epicentre area was the hot spot pre covid but so many of those places closed down during the pandemic. They are revitalizing that area currently as well. 

There is a buffalo wild wings behind the convention center, Latta arcade area has some bars etc. The westin bar is the spot on saturdays if you wanna mingle with industry folk etc.

Hey everyone,

I'm a comic book inker/artist and I have a few of my own comics that I'm thinking about getting graded on-site at HeroesCon but I am completely unfamiliar with the grading process as I've never submitted a book of my own for grading and have never done an on-site grading at a convention.

I did a variant cover for Army of Darkness: Forever #1 that is only available for purchase through me and I have a trade dress version limited to 400 copies and a "virgin" variant limited to only 100 copies.

I'm not a grader by any means, but I do have a couple copies of each book that I think could be candidates for 9.8s that I would like to submit.

Since these are my variant covers, I'd also like to sign the copies that I submit as well and have those verified as I sign them during submission or how ever that is handled.

Being a total noobie to this entire process, what would you suggest I do in order to make this process the smoothest and easiest with me signing them as well?

Sorry for what is probably a very obvious process for everyone that does this all of the time LOL

Be forewarned about the service at this Buffalo Wild Wings location...it is absolutely atrocious.  Best to order online and pickup, else you'll be waiting a long time for your food.

Oh, and they use the same excuse every year..."we're short-staffed"

As far as the uptown area, not too sure about the “affordable” restaurants as far as food can go. But bars, you find plenty many of those.

Depending on where you’re staying and if you’re willing to travel like 10-15 minutes, there’s plenty of great spots in the south end and NODA areas.
