  1. Hey everyone, I'm selling the original cover variant cover artwork to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #142. This cover art was for an exclusive variant cover edition available only at the Fanboy Expo Orlando in September 2023. The cover was pencilled by Noah Sult and inked by me, Jason Moore. This cover was inked traditionally over a "redline" printout of Noah's pencils. I've attached a scan of the original artwork so you can see the "redline" behind the inking, the pencils so you can see how the piece was pencilled (Pencil artowrk is not included in this sale) and a color version of the final artwork for reference. It measures the standard 11x17 on Strathmore Bristol Board. I'm asking $2,000 but might consider full trade for interesting 70's / 80's independent comics original art or even partial payment/trade. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me! Jason
  2. NOTE: This set of 5 covers have been SOLD. I can't find the way to delete this post, so I've marked it as sold. Hey everyone, My long time friend and frequent collaborator Kyle Hotz is putting his original artwork for all 5 connecting covers of Absolute Carnage up for sale. I've attached a scan of the artwork. Again, this is 5 interconnecting covers and is an homage to the Jim Lee X-Men #1 connecting covers. Each cover is on an 11x17 sheet of Bristol board and is not on one single large board. Kyle is asking $20,000 for the 5 cover set. Reasonable offers will be considered. This is being offered on these boards only. If you're interested, please contact me through this site. Please do not try to contact Kyle directly about this offer until we have spoken here and I've informed Kyle on who will be contacting him. Thanks everyone! Jason Moore
  3. This page and color guide have both been SOLD Thanks everyone! Jason Hi Everyone, A good friend of mine has the original artwork from Watchmen #9 page 11 with the original color guide as well. He purchased this artwork back in 1987 and it has not been on the market since he bought it back then. He is interested in taking offers on this original art w/ color guide. Please send offers to me via messaging here. Admin: If taking offers is frowned upon, then please remove the post. I don't want to do something that is looked down upon. Just trying to help a friend out. Thank you all! Jason Moore
  4. Hi, Thank you! Yea, that feature was on both pages a few years ago and I made offers but it is no longer available on the pages. I was just hoping that maybe the owner of the pages or someone who knows the owner might get me in touch with them. I would also be interested in getting in contact with the person who consigned them to Heritage for auction but that will never happen LOL Best, Jason
  5. Hey everyone, Many years ago, back in the early 90's I was the artist on a zombie comic called The Dead published by Arrow Comics. I was at the Motor City Comic Con in 1993 and all of my original interior artwork from The Dead #1, #2 and the tame and gory covers for each issue were stolen from my table. I had all of the original artwork in a FedEx box under my table and after packing up for the day on Friday, I left the FedEx box with originals under the table by mistake and the next morning I discovered the box was gone. I have been on the search for any originals from that box over the years and I have only found 2 originals from issue #1 for sale online. They were Pg 1 and Pg 14 from The Dead #1 and they were sold on Heritage back in 2009. I contacted Heritage a few years ago in hopes of trying to contact the winner of the two auctions but that ended up no where. So, at this point I'm hoping that someone here might know who was the winning bidder on these two pages from my comic. I would LOVE to get at least one of them back some how so that I have one page from the first comic that I ever did the artwork for. I would simply love to have it back home with me after so many years. Here's links to the completed Heritage auctions for your reference The Dead #1 Pg 1 Original Art by Jason Moore The Dead #1 Pg 14 Original Art by Jason Moore Thanks everyone for any help! Jason Moore
  6. I've been friends with Kirk since the late 80's and shared a studio with him while he worked on this series. I can 100% confirm that this is Kirk's signature.
  7. Kelley is available on Facebook! Kelley Jones - Facebook
  8. Hey Rich Do you still have this copy and if so, would you consider selling it? Best, Jason Moore
  9. I could definitely use the help at the moment Here's a directory with scans of my work as inker over my long time collaborator Kyle Hotz for a Book of Revelations adaption that we did a couple years ago. I think it's some of the best stuff we've done together since we first started working together in the mid 90's. http://www.inkmachine.com/art/revelations/ There's a lot of dark, horror type elements to it of course. There's a LOT of full page splashes and double page splashes here. This is just a raw directory with high resolution jpg files in it. Nothing fancy at all. If you see something here that interests you, please just send me the name of the file or a link to it and I'll get you the price for it right away. I'm also available for commissions as well. If you're interested in samples of my own work (full pencils and inks) please send me a message and I'll get some samples to you. I'm not the best at all with keeping up to date websites or social media sites with my current commissions, so I apologize for this old geezer and my old fashioned ways. LOL Thanks a lot!
  10. I could get it signed by James. I've been friends with him since the very beginning, formative days of Caliber and we were working for Gary Reed. I was the inker on The Realm. The back cover of Deadworld #10 was actually an ad for The Crow #1, not Caliber Presents #1...but it was the first published appearance of The Crow if you don't count the very low print run advertisement paper that was published by Caliber called Caliber Rounds which had a large full piece of artwork and promo material advertising The Crow BEFORE Deadworld #10...but since that was an advertising paper, not many people will consider that the first appearance even though it's actually the first appearance of The Crow in print form, but not necessarily in comic book format. If you have something you'd be interested in trading or doing partial trade for, please send pics or links to me...a lot of my collecting is based on artwork that catches my eye so I am never positive on exactly what I might be looking for until I see it =)
  11. Hey everyone, I'm selling the original artwork from Deadworld #10 pg3 that was pencilled by Vince Locke and inked and lettered by James O'Barr. The page is signed by Vince Locke. Vince and James have only worked together on a handful of pages from this issue of Deadworld which also happens to be considered the first appearance of The Crow on the back cover of this issue. Pages from this issue that Vince and James worked on are pretty tough to come by as there's only a few of them out there. I'm asking $350 shipped for this page. I will entertain best offer or partial trades as long as it's within reason. No super lowball please. Thanks! Jason Moore
  12. Thanks for the mention @mister_not_so_nice!! I sent you a PM @eewwnuk
  13. I would absolutely LOVE a chance to ink this once you get it completed. I've inked Pollard, Jusko, Zeck and Granov on commissions in the past. This would be fun!
  14. Hey everyone! I'm looking to sell some original artwork that I have worked on as inker over pencillers Kelley Jones and Kyle Hotz. There's a few pieces in here that are pencilled and inked by me and I will make note of that next to the piece. All artwork is 11x17 unless it is a double page spread in which case the artwork is approximately 22x17. Thanks for looking!! 15. Hey everyone, I still have this entire 16 page complete story available for sale. My original asking price on it was $400 plus S&H for the complete story. I need to sell this story quick, so I'm dropping the asking price to $300 + S&H. Please contact me if interested! Thanks, Jason Moore
  16. Hey everyone, I have this original artwork from Swamp Thing #25 Pg 11 by Bissette/Totleben. I have only used ebay in the past to sell artwork, but I feel like I may be missing out on some potential buyers for an item like this if I don't use one of the larger auction houses. What would you all recommend as the best market to sell a page like this?
  17. Price Dropped to only $400 + S&H. That's only $25 per page for a complete 16 page story! I need to move these pages ASAP. I recently completed inking a short story over penciller Steve Mannion that is featured in issue 4 & 5 of Eric Powell's Spook House comic book, published by Eric's company, Albatross Funny Books. All of Steve's pencilled artwork was sent to me digitally, then I printed it out and inked over blueline printouts at full standard 11x17 paper size. The inks are traditional brush and india inks on standard comic bristol board paper. These are not digital inks and print outs of digital inks. I reiterate that the final published artwork was inked over Steve's pencil artwork sent directly to me from Steve. Steve didn't touch these originals as far as laying his pencil to the actual pieces of paper that I inked on. I know that probably 100% of you are aware of the process, but I feel it necessary to go into detail on it just in case! Anyway, I am looking to sell these pages to anyone interested. It would be kind of cool to keep the story together, but I'm sure that's unlikely. If any of you would like to see the scans of the finished pages, you can see them at the following link: http://www.inkmachine.com/art/spookhouse If you are interested, please contact me at inkmachine@gmail.com Thanks everyone! Best, Jason Moore
  18. Hey everyone! Eric Powell published a new comic this week under his Albatross Funny Books called Galaktikon #1. Here's a little back story. I was originally hired to be the inker on this 6 issue mini-series pencilled by Steve Mannion. The comic series is based on a concept album of the same name by musician Brendon Small, creator of the Cartoon Network series Metalocalypse. I got no further then 5 pages into inking issue #1 of the series and Brendon decided that he preferred the rough texture look of the pencil artwork and not the inked version, so the decision was made to not have an inker on the book and to print the comic directly from the pencil artwork only. So that leaves me with 5 pages of original unpublished inked artwork from Galaktikon #1 that's on the stands this week. I inked these pages using traditional methods of brush and india ink over blueline printouts on standard smooth finish bristol board at full 11x17 size. These were not inked directly over Steve's actual pencil artwork. I'm interested in selling these 5 pages if anyone here is interested in them. I love inking Steve's work and really wish that I could have inked the entire 6 issue series as originally planned...but I'm sure there will be future projects with us collaborating as a team in the future! I'm attaching scans of the 5 originals that I have for sale. Thanks everyone! Best, Jason Moore
