Do the staples on this comic look like they were replaced?

Looking at the centerfold there are no other staple holes to indicate the original staples were once there and centered, IMO, the staple placement being severely off center was/is a bindery issue.

Looking at your book it appears to be in the VG 4.0 to VG/FN 5.0 range so the staple placement should not affect the grade.
