Married Centerfold vs Staple Replacement 1 1

Recieved a book today where the centerfold has an additional set of holes vs where the staples are actually attaching it to the book. No additional staple holes visible on the cover which would lead me to the centerfold being married rather than the staples being replaced on the book, but also want to be sure I know what the issue is before contacting the seller about it.

You need to look at the rest of the pages to see if the original staples holes line up with the cover or the first set on the centerfold. It would also be very difficult to match page quality if one marries a centerfold.  You should look for that also.  It’s possible the original cover fell off during production and the book was run through the machine again and a second cover was stapled to the book in different staple locations.
