Samlarn72
Hello This I got in Sweden for 30 years ago, he wanted 50$ but because of the defects I got it for 30$ How much does the cuts affect the grade and what value do I put up if I send it to cgc (did bad on a ff 5) Last question, do I use tape for the loose cut outs. See Picture 4 and 5 Sorry for my bad english Thanks Stefan in Sweden
Point Five
Welcome! Your English is just fine. So there are two pages where large areas have been cut, but the areas are still present, correct? No pages or sections missing? Are you slabbing the book intending to sell it? Tape is really frowned upon in the CGC/comic collecting world. I wouldn't add it. scburdet
I think the clippings is a non-story page, and no more than half a page. If that's correct, CGC's starting range is 4.0-8.0. The book looks lower than a 4.0, so I don't think the clipping factors significantly into the grade. I think the chipping around the edges is more determinative. I'll give it a 2.5 & it wouldn't surprise me if it got a major key bump. I would be happy to give you $60 for it, which would double your initial investment Point Five and Mars76 1
