I believe the tear plus the "normal" defects (top edge wear, little corner creases) are going to make the binding here irrelevant. Maybe there's a tiny split starting at the top of the spine? I'd guess 7.0. The waviness from the adhesive/binding process & staple impressions are only going to matter fine tuning a high grade copy. Spine splitting seems to be common & the most detrimental defect that happens more frequently with these.

7.0 here too.

It'll bump a grade if pressed IMO. I doubt two.

Grade the square bounds like any other book but give them a little leniency with spine splits, staple impressions and wear, glue and waviness. 2c
