Amazing Spider-Man #32

Here are the issues as I see them: There is a color-breaking crease at the upper right-hand corner of the front cover. There are a few small stains near the bottom left-hard corner of the cover, near the thug’s right hand. There is tanning on the inside front cover and the inside and outside of the back cover. There are a few non-color-breaking creases along the spine of the back cover. There is a reader’s crease along the spine of the front cover.

The centerfold and the staples are firmly attached.

Amazing Spider-Man #33

Here are the issues as I see them. This is obviously a well-loved book. There are numerous creases on the front cover, especially along the spine and the right edge. There is some fraying/rounding of the upper left-hand and lower right-hand corners of the front cover. There are small staple tears at both staples. There is tanning on both the insides of the front and back covers. There are two significant creases in the bottom left-hand corner of the back cover. There is some kind of stain (but I don’t think it was water) in the bottom left-hand corner. This stain is also visible at the corresponding location on the inside of the back cover. The cover seems a little loose above the top staple, but there is no spine split.

The centerfold and the staples are firmly attached.

I’m going to call this a Good+. My asking price is $50 shipped. SOLD to @flying_bison!

Daredevil #18

Here are the issues as I see them: There are numerous spine tics along the spine of the front cover. There is a slight staple tear around the top staple. There is tanning on the inside of the front cover and on the inside and outside of the back cover. There is distributor spray along the top of the book; it is most noticeable on the inside of the cover and the splash page, perhaps due to water. The back cover seems to be dirty. There are creases along the spine of the back cover.

The centerfold and the staples are firmly attached.

I’m going to call this a Fine–. My asking price is $65 shipped.

Fantastic Four Annual #1

Here are the issues as I see them: This is another well-loved book. There is tape that runs the length of the spine. There is a piece of tape along the bottom of the inside of the front cover. There are also three pieces of tape on the inside of the back cover. There are numerous creases on both the front and back cover. There seems to be several examples of color touch on the front cover - along Reed’s leg near the spine of the front cover, on Spider-Man’s costume at the bottom of the front cover, and in the Marvel price box. I determined this by seeing evidence of bleed-through on the inside of the front cover. There are several small tears along the top of the back cover, along with another tear on the bottom of the back cover. There is a small stain in the lower left-hand corner of the back cover. The back cover seems quite dirty. The cover is starting to pull away from the insides of the book, but there is no spine split.

The staples are firmly attached.

Fantastic Four Annual #5

Here are the issues as I see them: There is a definite reader’s crease along the spine of the front cover. There are other creases on the front cover, mainly along the right-hand side. There is a definite crunch in the bottom left-hand corner of the back cover, and it affects the entire book. The back cover is showing some dirt, along with creases along the spine. There is a slight tear near the middle of the spine on the back cover.

The insides of the book are not pulling away from the cover, and the staples are firmly attached.

Here are the issues as I see them: This is definitely another well-loved book. There is scuffing along the upper right-hand corner and top of the front cover. There is a 1” spine split at the top and bottom of the book. There are two stains near the bottom staple of the front cover, which appear on the inside of the front cover and the first two pages of the book. There are some major creases in the bottom right-hand corner of the front cover; in addition, many of the bottom right-hand corners of the interior pages are folded over. There is definite water damage along the top of the book, and it is noticeable throughout the entire book. There is a definite tear near the bottom staple of the back cover. The back cover shows a lot of dirt. There is a chip at the top of the back cover.

The centerfold and staples are firmly attached, although the staples are showing evidence of rust.
